You made so many theories about who the culprit would be. You even shoved this poor boy into the limelight, claiming that he could be the only one to do such a thing. All the pieces fit, don't they? The boy who hated his family so much, he ran away for all those years. And it just so happens that when he does come back, everyone dies. It is a perfectly logical conclusion to assume he was the one behind the murders, right? Or maybe you were wrong. But that doesn't matter now. What matters is that all of your attention brought him into existence. The perfect and absolute culprit behind the murders that occurred on that island. This is the monster that you created.
